As a ground breaking digital academy we know you will have lots of questions.
Our Apprenticeship Web Development course requires you to be 16 years or older from the start of the course in September. For our Advanced Web Development course you are required to be 18 years or older from the start of the course in September.
Yes if you are interested in our Apprenticeship or Advanced Web Development course please apply above on the course information.
For our 2 year Apprenticeship Web Development course you will require a minimum of 5 GSCE’s. Our Advanced Web Development program requires no formal educational qualifications and each application is judged on technical experience, interest and ambition.
Both our Apprenticeship and Advanced Web Development courses are full time (4 days per week).
Both our Apprenticeship and Advanced Web Development courses are free for successful candidates in 2024.
Yes, all of our technical trainers are experienced developers with many years of experience in developing complex web solutions for leading businesses. They are also continually involved in developing web projects to ensure they stay at the forefront of technology. This ensures our students are taught by the most up to date and experienced professionals.
Our 2 year Apprenticeship Web Development course will provide you not only with an extensive portfolio of web projects, key skills in web development and links within the digital industry for your first job as a junior web developer, but also a Software developer (level 4) apprenticeship certificate.
The Advanced Web Development course does not currently have a qualification attached to it and is far more focused on securing a web developer job with a leading digital business once the intensive 12 month course has been completed.
Absolutely! A significant advantage of being trained at Evo Academy is our links to our partnership network of leading digital businesses that are looking to hire web developers in the South West and beyond.
We also provide indepth portfolio creation, mock interviews, and job application training to ensure you stand the best chance in securing your first role as a web developer.
The Advanced Web Development 12 month course is an alternative to University. We have developed the 12 month intensive web development course from the ground up to maximise our students chances of learning what the industry requires and securing their first job after the 12 month course.
University can be the right option for many but with a 3 year commintment of your time and the significant costs associated with a university course that can exceed £40,000 we believe that our Advanced Web Development course offers a fast and far less expensive route into the digital industry.
We currently have 4 places available for our Apprenticeship Web Development course and 12 places available for our Advanced Web Development course.
