Telecom Project Management

Project Perfectionist™ has been created with years and years of professional in house experience of delivering successful converged network solutions for the enterprise markets. The course bridges the gap for all individuals who may already be certified Project Managers such as Prince®, PMP® or PMI® and provides specific expertise in delivering successful converged network projects, or specific Telecom projects

A good background in corporate structure, best practices and project planning is certainly of benefit, but candidates will certainly cover all of these in a telecom context within this course.

Candidates will progress through the 5 day course, focusing on and developing a full converged network project plan for the delivery of 3 real world project based scenarios and feel completely confortable with the following:

• A product overview of all the key components of the technology suite will form an essential part of the course, with the goal not being to create a team of technical staff, but rather to understand their dependencies, and implementation requirements
• Review the full project lifecycle, and what significance this has in regards to telecom deployments
• 3 Full scale scenario based deployment workshops with detailed explanations and risk mitigation:


• Scenario #1 - A comprehensive workshop on the delivery of a full scale 'Greenfield IPT solution'
• Scenario #2 - Cisco IPT Migrations, Campus consolidations and Multi-tenant project delivery
• Scenario #3 - SRST branch office deployments, custom integrations and major upgrade management


• Understand international regulatory requirements for key vertical markets such as law, finance and insurance sectors
• Develop a structured project plan with timelines and dependencies in a universal format that will ensure that nothing is overlooked or forgotten
• Learn which expectations to set correctly with the customer, before, during and after the project
• Understand the requirements for partner and vendor participation at critical stages of the project
• Understand the roles, responsibilities of the project team, which resources you will require, and how to effectively manage them
• Learn how to develop key documentation such as pre-site analysis checklists, BOM definition forms, customer acceptance criteria and customer sign off templates plus how to leverage your technical team to develop key documents such as the post installation test scripts
• Understand the dependencies of a full telecom project so you can proactively manage and execute the project without depending on your technical staff to advise you on what needs to be done next!

This class is absolutely essential for all Telecom Project Manager responsible roles and will prove to be invaluable in delivering a full scale enterprise solution with perfection, whilst also being eligible for PM learning credits as classroom based training
